PERSONAL APPEARANCE: Students are expected to uphold a clean, modest, and non-distracting appearance in their dress for all meetings, classes, services and gatherings within the ALFWC community. We desire to bring glory to Jesus with our bodies and our clothing. For guidelines on modesty, please see an ALFWC School of Ministry Leader. Neither Abundant Life Family Worship Church nor the School of Ministry program is responsible for covering professional medical attention, medication, visits to a doctor, or hospitalization. PERSONAL EXPENDITURES: Students are required to have sufficient funds to cover all personal and living expenses incurred throughout the school. For all ALFWC staff and students: We recognize that external rules for behavior are not the highest ideal for any Christian community and we desire that our motivation for holiness would be out of love for Jesus and His people, not rules. In this spirit, we affirm the following: The ALFWC community expects all staff members and students to make a personal commitment to live counter to the prevailing moral laxity of our society by not participating in, advocating, condoning, or supporting sexual activity(heterosexual, homosexual) outside of marriage between a man and a woman, as set forth and supported in Scripture, or the use of pornography. Further, we will demonstrate our commitment to Christ and to each other by refraining from the public or social use of tobacco, including but not limited to eCigs, cigarettes, cigars, pipes, hookah (with or without tobacco), etc. Do you understand and agree to the moral policy: * Yes No ATTENDANCE POLICY To benefit from the full scope of the teachings and materials we encourage everyone to complete the semester with 100% participation and attendance. However, we understand that emergencies do happen. In order to receive credit for each class, students must attend and complete at least 80% of the required classes and assignments. Any schedule conflicts need to be addressed with ALFWCSOM leadership by orientation. Previously planned vacation time will be seen as excused absences. Students should plan ahead and notify the Administrator of any expected vacations. Please keep the purpose of the school at the forefront of your priorities in order to get the most out of it. The following policy will be implemented: All students are responsible for checking in upon arrival to class using a QR code. This will track your attendance. ____________________________ EARLY DISMISSAL: Leaving class before it’s dismissed is an EARLY DISMISSAL. A dismissal is equivalent to one (1) ABSENCE.
